Door to Japanese Market - Distribution Agreement Signed With
the TOYO Corporation — March 4, 2004 |
JPK Instruments AG, a Berlin-based specialist for nano-biotechnological
applications, recently signed a distribution agreement with the
Japanese TOYO Corporation, Tokyo. With the agreement JPK Instruments
is strengthening its position as a provider of scanning probe
microscope solutions for the so-called "soft matter"
and life science sector within the highly lucrative Asian Market.
TOYO Corp. is a renowned manufacturer of electronic measuring
devices and systems. With its more than 400 highly skilled employees
the company can look back onto many year's tradition as distribution
partner for western technology companies. JPK Instruments decided
to choose TOYO as co-operation partner first and foremost because
of the Japanese's long year's experience in the distribution of
scanning probe microscopes. JPK was already able to achieve revenue
in Japan.
So far the offerings of the Berlin-based company for nano-biotechnological
research have been distributed throughout Europe (Germany, Great-Britain,
France and the Benelux countries) in Taiwan and now also in Japan.
In addition to the recent deal JPK will consequently progress
in further developing the Asian market. Negotiations are under
way to strike a distribution deal in South Korea.
