2010-04-07 | JPK announces the appointment of new UK & Ireland Sales Manager

Dr Robert Field, JPK's new UK & Ireland Sales Manager.
JPK Instruments, a world-leading manufacturer of nanoanalytic instrumentation for research in life sciences and soft matter, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Robert Field as their new UK & Ireland Sales Manager.

Dr. Field gained a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Bristol in 1997. He remained at Bristol as a post graduate researcher, studying novel routes to chiral phosphines for use in catalysis gaining a PhD in organic chemistry in 2001. His first commercial role was as Applications Scientist and Customer Care Manager for Applied Photophysics, a company specialising in the manufacture of spectroscopy equipment for research laboratories.



Following that, Field held sales management positions at Veeco Instruments (metrology equipment) and ionscope (Scanning Ion Conductance Microscopy).

Welcoming Dr. Field to the organisation, JPK’s General Sales Manager, Dr. Gerd Behme, said he is looking forward to seeing the continued success of the sales and support team based in Cambridge. “Rob brings a wealth of experience through working in highly technical and applications driven markets and we are happy he has chosen to continue his career with us.”
