2009-06-18 | JPK announces a two day International Meeting on the application of SPM & Optical Tweezers for Life Sciences

JPK Instruments are happy to announce that registration is now open for the eighth annual symposium on the applications of scanning probe microscopy (SPM) to be run alongside the second annual symposium on optical tweezers. The symposia will be held on the 14-15th October 2009 in Berlin and will focus on applications developments in life sciences. These meetings have become highly regarded on the international SPM meetings calendar. JPK again expects more than 100 scientists from around the world to come to Berlin to discuss their results and share scientific knowledge.

This year's speakers come from Europe and the USA and will present on a wide variety of topics. The meetings will feature a poster session where delegates are invited to showcase their work to their peers making it a most interactive scientific meeting. This has traditionally attracted a high standard of work particularly offering research students the opportunity to present posters.

Announcing this year's meeting, Torsten Jähnke of JPK said he is extra proud to announce the opening of registration for this year's symposia. "Not only do we feel honored to be hosting this gathering of top international scientists, it is giving JPK as a company the opportunity to thanks users and friends alike for their support over our first ten years."
